DETAILED EXPLANATION:

• Pre-stuff your pockets with random school objects -- tape, stapler, pen, pencil, etc. Pull an object out of your pocket and show it to the kids. Say something to the effect of, “Hey, look at that! I have a stapler!”
• Ask the students if they can guess what else you have in your pockets, but give them a hint as to what type of things you have in your pocket.
• Have the students form groups and think together what you could have. When they answer, they should say, "Do you have a ~ ?" The teacher should answer by saying, "Yes, I have a ~" or "No, I don't have a ~."
• When a group makes a correct guess, take the object out to show them.

VARIATIONS:

• Once all the objects have been shown, return them back in your pockets and grab randomly grab an object in your pocket and ask them what object you are going to pull out next.

TEACHING SUGGESTIONS:

• Classroom objects are handy and easy for students to guess.
• A bag to use instead of pockets, in case your pockets are too small.
• Think about using objects with an obvious shape that can be used as a hint if the students are stumped.

I have stapler!”
児童は答える場合に "Do you have a ~ ?" 先生が “Yes, I have a ~”あるいは “No, I don’t have a ~”と答える。
