A two choice quiz game about famous people. Practices the third person 'be verb'

Part One introduces some adjectives. Make groups and show the first picture. One member should rush up with a sentence 'He is strong'. Give points to groups based on speed of response.

The second part is a O X quiz. They must complete the sentences with 'is' or 'isn't' about the two famous people. Again one student from each group comes up to the teacher with their answers. This time the teacher's record O or X on the team score boards and after every team is finished do the answer check.

The last activity is writing about characters. I usually keep them in groups and they can work together to make profiles about famous people.

I give stickers to groups that complete one or two profiles depending on the time.

I've included two versions. One with Taylor Swift and the other with Ariana Grande. Use the one that your students are more familiar with.

By O X quiz or 'Maru Batsu Quiz' I meant 'true or false quiz'. The students will know them as 'maru batsu quiz' though
